Magazine advert

This is the final advert for our music video "save the world"

I made this advert on Microsoft word, after I put on the pre-edited picture i decided it may be a good idea to have 3 replicates of the main figure shown, I done this by removing the original background colour of the picture on two separate pictures and then copy and pasted them into the same document this make it look like 3 layered pictures in one. Fitting in with the original style of Swedish house mafia with the '3' objects. Again as the song is about saving the world I found a picture in clipart of the earth and then edited the transparency so they could just look faded into the original picture above the heads. i then used these again at the bottom of the page but changed the original colouring to a pinky look to fit in with the same colour theme as the main picture. I think that the magazine ad does look realistic as it includes a similar layout as most others with a main picture and then little writing to capture the audiences attention. The reduction in writing means that more people are likely to read it or skim it quickly as it doesn't take up their time or effort. This is perfect for our chosen magazine as people may just pick it up in the morning have a quick look through and see our Ad and remember it for the rest of the day. The conventions of most ads seem to have the stretched our writing at the bottom so we felt this was essential on our final idea.
