Magazine ad (first attempt)

This was my first attempt at making a magazine advert, I knew that i wanted to use this picture as the main focus but I wasn't sure on how it looked fitted on the whole page. I used a separate app on my phone to edit the picture before on an app called Instaeditor, this allowed me to add different coloured effects, and the 'bubble' effect at the bottom. When I went to use Microsoft word to make the advert I used decided to make it on a template which left it with this wooden look background which I didn't really like. After further research into magazine Ads i realised that the bubble writing with the glow wouldn't be a good idea for the final ad as it looked kind of tacky and child like. From making this as a rough copy of the first attempt it taught me what I not to do on the final ad and how I could make it better.
